In May 2016 I visited the Birds of Prey Sanctuary of Hellenthal with some friends for watching a flying demonstration. But unfortunately the wind was against the birds and us: there was simply no wind. For bigger birds like the bald eagle it was hard work to get their four kilo weighing body up in the air. They came back quickly. It was hard work to take photos but still a lot of fun – the birds do really fly fast!
