About

“There is nothing to say about photography, you just have to look.” This is what Henri Cartier-Bresson once said about photography and I think he was right: Photography is always a reflection and an image of what the person behind the camera sees. I work in an office all day but in my spare time I’m happy to be outside with my camera. I like to stroll through the city but I love to be out in the nature as well. On this site you’ll find a selection of my photos taken on photo-walks either  together with my friends or as single projects.

I was born in 1958 and grew up in a small German village called Schalksmühle. After living for some time in London, Cologne and Frankfurt/Main I finally found my home in Wuppertal. My passion is traveling and of course I never travel without my camera.Curious penguin on Falkland Islands
